Val Morgan Outdoor (VMO) and Val Morgan Digital (VMD) have announced the appointment of Liam O’Meara from VMO NSW sales director to general manager of outdoor and digital sales NSW.
O’Meara started with the company’s cinema brand in 2016 in the role of group sales manager before making the leap across to VMO in 2019 for the position of NSW sales director.
Since the launch of VMD in 2018, collaboration between VMO and VMD has skyrocketed as advertisers amplify branded digital content from The Latch, POPSUGAR Australia, Fandom, and Thrillist across VMO’s network of 10,000 screens within shopping centres, petro & convenience, and health clubs.
The branded integration of branded digital content with proximity-to-purchase messaging is driving creativity in our campaigns and results for advertisers.
The newly created role is designed to drive deeper collaboration across both the Outdoor and Digital business’ sales team and campaign solutions.
O’Meara said he was delighted to continue his career progression, moving into the company’s new phase.
“The VMO and Val Morgan Digital brands are both in exciting growth periods, and this change to the structure and expansion of my remit to Val Morgan Digital will ultimately lead to a more collaborative and streamlined experience for our partners.
“I am also equally as excited to be given the opportunity to continue leading and working alongside such talented, energetic individuals within both teams.”
Brian Florido, managing director of Val Morgan Digital said: “Liam’s expansion of his responsibilities to Val Morgan Digital will further cement the teams’ great reputation in market and help drive positive business outcomes across NSW.”
Geoff Cochrane, national sales manager of VMO, added: “Over the last 3 years of spearheading the VMO NSW Sales Team, Liam has done an exceptional job driving success within the business, delivering on key outcomes within the NSW region.
“We congratulate Liam on his new appointment and are excited to see him expand his leadership and expertise across to the Val Morgan Digital team,” Cochrane added.
