UK: Bake Off and Downton Abbey vie for top spot
ITV's Downton Abbey season final settles at #2 with BBC's Bake Off in front by 4m viewers in w/e September 20
The current series of The Great British Bake Off has gone through the roof for BBC1 with this week's edition over 12m viewers.
Taking second spot has been the final series of Downton Abbey on ITV. It wasn't much of a contest though – Bake Off was over four million ahead!
Foxtel will be hoping that the soon-to-launch reboot of the Bake Off format with Maggie Beer and Matt Moran will bring them big numbers here.
