The Block topped the night in non-news, in what turned out to be a stressful day for Ankur and Sharon who didn’t have enough tradies on site to get through the amount of demolition they need to do. 1,415,000 tuned in, up 30%.
On Seven, Home and Away lifted 19% to bring 961,000 to Summer Bay. My Kitchen Rules had 889,000 wast as Victorian best friends Matt and KT sealed their spot in the semi-final, lifting 24%.
Have You Been Paying Attention? lifted 29% to draw a crowd of 953,000. The Amazing Race launch episode lifted 43% and saw the Melbourne teams head to Morocco, with 841,000 tuning in.

Nine has won the night with a primary share of 20.8% and a network share of 27.7%. 7Two won the night in multichannels with a 3.3% share.
It was a big night on A Current Affair, with 627,000 tuning in as Tracy Grimshaw announced that she would be stepping down as host of the show in November. “It’s been a big decision, and before the gossip websites start telling you rubbish, I want you to know it’s been my decision alone and I’m not being shoved out the door by the boys club because I’m too old,” she said as she signed off.

On The Block, the couples kicked off their biggest week yet, with only a handful of days to present a double room, guest bedroom, and ensuite. 740,000 watched as drama kicked off at the Winners are Grinners dinner, when Scott Cam revealed how much each team has spent on tradies so far.
Seven’s Home and Away drew a crowd of 504,000 to start the night, before the second episode of Farmer Wants A Wife. 489,000 tuned in as Farmers Benjamin and Paige took their turn at speed dating – down on the launch episode’s 586,000.
On 10, The Project (204,000 6:30pm / 369,000 7pm) covered the legacy of Boris Johnson as Liz Truss takes the British Prime Ministership, and interviewed James Graham about the long-term impacts of head trauma in contact sport. The Amazing Race continued its Greek Week, with 386,000 watching as Tiffany and Cynthia hit the mat last. Thankfully for the pair, the leg was a pre-determined non-elimination round. Have You Been Paying Attention? then skewered the week for 547,000.
The ABC’s 7.30 covered the return of the federal parliament and the impact of Victoria’s “dire” shortage of doctors on violent crime victims for 525,000. Australian Story took a deep dive into the story of Lyn Dawson for 538,000 viewers after her ex-husband Chris Dawson was charged with her murder last week. Four Corners rounded out the night for 605,000, investigating the decline of Qantas.
