Total TV Ratings, September 30
A Current Affair on Nine was the top program on total TV, increasing by 6% to reach a total audience of 739,000.
Gardening Australia on ABC enjoyed a lift of 16% to reach 677,000 people, followed by Better Homes and Gardens on Seven, rising 6% for a 655,000 viewer reach.
Ray Warren: Calling Time on Nine had the most significant lift on overnight with 18% to reach an audience of 290,000.

In a close-call night, Nine has narrowly taken out the Friday night network share win with 29%, followed by Seven with 28.2%, while Seven won the primary channel share with 21%. 7TWO won the multichannels with a 3.5% share,
A Current Affair on Nine claimed the top spot for the night after the primetime news programs, clocking 527,000 views. The program aired John Farnham’s son’s emotional first interview since the music icon’s health scare and met with a five-year-old cancer patient hoping to help other kids fighting the same battle as her. Later in the night, the network aired Taronga: Who’s Who in the Zoo with 330,000 views.
Seven’s The Chase was Friday’s top entertainment program bringing in 432,000 viewers, followed by Better Homes and Gardens with 382,000 views. On Better Homes and Gardens, Adam built a unique study area while Karen cooked some sweet and spicy chicken drumettes. Seven’s coverage of the Bathurst 1000 reached an audience of 152,000.
On ABC, Gardening Australia reached 386,000 viewers as the team met with a rare plant-collecting family. Later in the night, Fran Kelly’s new chat show Frankly clocked 305,000 views. On its debut night, Kelly chatted with Shaun Micallef, Dr Richard Harris and Kirsten Banks.
On 10, The Living Room saw Miguel and Chris indulge in treetop walking, zip-line sliding, bungee jumping and Zorb rolling, bringing in 236,000 views.
Secrets of the Lost Liners was the most-watched program on SBS, with 112,000 views.

Fox Cricket claimed the top four spots on subscription TV with its T20 cricket coverage. In game two of Australia v West Indies, Australia defeated West Indies by 31 runs, pulling in 180,000 views. In addition, the Live Innings Break reached 180,000 views, while the post-game coverage reached 141,000 views.
On Fox Sports 503, 111,000 people watched the Bathurst 1000 Supercars qualifying round.
