Nine won Thursday night with a primary share of 18.8% and a network share of 26.7%. 7Mate has won multi channels with a 2.9% share.
Nine’s A Current Affair (561,000) featured John “Gordo” Gordon and Olivia Titor, two strangers brought together in a life-or-death situation at Fingal Head in northern New South Wales. After rescuing her previously from a dangerous rip, Gordon helped Titor step back into the water for the first time since the near-deadly day. Then, 499,000 watched The Block. It was three days until our Blockheads had to deliver not one, but two kids’ rooms in a busy week in Hampton East. Eliza and Liberty enlisted the help of Lego Masters’ Brickman to help them build a toy cheetah for one of their rooms. To avoid a cheating scandal, Scotty Cam told the girls they had to pay him! Meanwhile, BBQ King Brett won the $15,000 Weber Challenge by cooking Cam the perfect steak. Then, 154,000 tuned in for Session One of England v New Zealand at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. 106,000 stayed on for Session Two. NZ won by nine wickets with 82 balls left.

423,000 began their evening in Summer Bay with Seven’s Home and Away as Mali had to act on Rose’s ultimatum and Irene attempted to broker peace between Roo and Marilyn. Then, 264,000 and 247,000 watched Highway Patrol where a learner bursts into tears when he’s caught without a fully licensed driver beside him and if that’s not bad enough, he then follows it up with a full-blown, toddler-like tantrum. In the second episode, drunk drivers are all too common but the man Leading Senior Constable Rob Jones pulls over was beyond belief. He was so off his face, that he had vomited all over his car – and partly down himself! Charming! 233,000 didn’t make a “big mistake, huge” by joining Julia Roberts and Richard Gere for the 1990 film, Pretty Woman.
On 10, The Project (142,000 6:30pm / 225,000 7pm) welcomed Diesel, one of Australia’s most gifted musicians to the desk and the program also looked at how research shows that Aussie childcare fees are some of the highest in the world with the Government now threatening to name and shame those who are overcharging. The Amazing Race Australia 2023 then followed for 429,000. The celebs and their loved ones were still in India’s city of love, Agra, where they continued to face extreme heat and a monsoon before a Bollywood routine tested their endurance. Aussie icon Grant Denyer and his equally fabulous wife Chezzi were eliminated from the race. Then, 430,000 watched Gogglebox Australia. This week, our favourite couch warmers watched Foxtel’s Love It or List It, both NRL and AFL Grand Finals and the Grand Finale of Thank God You’re Here. gri
