On Seven, Farmer Wants A Wife took a sad turn for Farmer Benjamin, with 1,040,000 tuning in as he left the show due to news about his grandmother’s declining health – up 35%. Home and Away followed with 918,000 tuning in, up 21%.
Have You Been Paying Attention? drew 849,000 to 10, up 38%. The Amazing Race lifted 36%, as 597,000 said goodbye to Fliss and Tottie due to a twisted ankle on a jungle track.

Nine’s A Current Affair interviewed former NRL star Mat Rogers about his battle with an autoimmune disease, and asked whether Father Bob could be given the Australian of the Year award for 703,000 viewers. The Block proved once and for all why Hell Week has earned its name, with 884,000 watching as every team failed to finish their hallways and laundries in time for the reveal. Under Investigation then looked into the role NSW Police played in the Sydney gay bashings of the 80s and 90s for 293,000 viewers.
Home and Away brought in 469,000 viewers to start the night for Seven. Farmer Wants A Wife then wrapped up its season, with Farmers Will, Ben, and Harry all finding their special someone in front of 523,000 viewers.

ABC’s 7.30 dug into the decision to scrap mandatory Covid isolation periods, and looked at the devastation Hurricane Ian has caused in Florida for 530,000 viewers. Greg Donovan was the subject of Australian Story, with 521,000 tuning in to see his journey to build the world’s most remote music festival. Four Corners then had 411,000 watch as the show looked at Australia’s critical lack of affordable and social housing.
On 10, The Project (238,000 6:30pm / 355,000 7pm) saw panellist Steve Price defend his controversial stance that ‘AFLW is not an elite sport,’ and interviewed Christian Bale. The Amazing Race came home to Australia, where 331,000 watched as husbands Pako and Mori were eliminated after hitting the mat last. Have You Been Paying Attention? then brought Grace Tame on as guest quizmaster in front of 540,000 viewers.
The highest rating non-news show on SBS was Iceland With Alexander Armstrong with 136,000 tuning in.
