Total TV Ratings, October 21
A Current Affair on Nine was the top program on total TV, increasing by 4% to reach a total audience of 711,000.
The Chase on Seven enjoyed a lift of 3% to reach 688,000 people, while Better Homes and Gardens on Seven rose 5% for a 687,000 viewer reach.
All Creatures Great and Small on ABC had the highest lift on overnight with 47% to reach an audience of 603,000.
Overnight TV Ratings, October 28
Seven has claimed a Friday night win with 28.3% followed by Nine with 27.5%. Seven also won the primary channel share with 20.9%. On the multichannels, 7TWO won the night with a 3.9% share.
The Chase on Seven claimed the top spot for the night after the primetime news programs, bringing in 427,000 views. Later in the night, Better Homes and Gardens clocked 355,000 views as Joh and Pete visited the Italian-inspired Northbridge House while Adam gave an insight into how timber is produced.
Hot Seat on Nine was the network’s top entertainment program bringing in 309,000 views. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup brought in 257,000 views, despite the game being abandoned due to rain, allowing both England and Australia to continue to prepare for the semi-finals for a few more days at least.
On ABC, Gardening Australia reached 376,000 viewers as Sophie met with a renter growing food with her community, while Jerry toured an accessible garden. Later in the night, Fran Kelly’s new chat show Frankly, which saw Kelly chat with singer/songwriter Natalie Imbruglia, clocked 259,000 views.
On 10, The Living Room saw Amanda learn some new tradie tricks, bringing in 240,000 views.
Secrets of the Lost Liners was the most-watched program on SBS, with 120,000 views.
STV
Fox Cricket claimed the top two spots on subscription TV with its ICC T20 cricket coverage. The T20 Innings Break clocked 91,000, followed by Aus v Eng, despite being cancelled.
On Sky News Live, Credlin reached 39,000.
