1,639,000 tuned into Nine’s The Block turned into chaos as Eliza and Kristy got into a heated confrontation after the kitchen and laundry reveal, up 33%.
Seven’s The Voice had 1,130,000 tune in as four artists secured their spot in the Grand Finale, up 21%.
ABC’s Death In Paradise was up 7% for a total audience of 599,000, before The Newsreader lifted 44% for a total audience of 598,000.

The NRL Grand Final has seen Nine has decisively win Sunday night, with a primary share of 46.4% and a network share of 52.4%. The top multichannel was 7mate with 2.4%.
Footy fans had three finals in a row on Nine – all played on a sweltering day at Accor stadium – with the first up being the State Cup Championship Grand Final. 232,000 watched the Brisbane Tigers taking on the Rabbitohs, with the Rabbitohs coming out on top 42-22. Next up was the NRLW Grand Final, with 414,000 watching Dally M winner Tamika Upton leading the Newcastle Knights to a 24-18 victory over the Gold Coast Titans – making it back-to-back titles for the women in blue and red.
Finally, the NRL Grand Final went down to the wire, with 2,045,000 tuning in as Penrith Panthers star Nathan Cleary scored in the dying minutes to reclaim the lead against the Brisbane Broncos. Having been down 24-8 earlier in the second half, the final score of 24-26 sees Penrith take the title of biggest Grand Final comeback ever, along with their historic threepeat.
854,000 tuned in from Sydney, with 623,000 viewers from Brisbane.
On Seven, Australia moved towards an eight-wicket victory in their T20I series opener, with 54,000 watching the game played at North Sydney Oval. On MKR, 503,000 tuned in as Nick & Christian and Tommy & Rach earned their places in Monday’s semi-final.
On the ABC, Death In Paradise brought 325,000 along as a celebrated concert pianist was murdered in his studio, before The Newsreader took 249,000 back to Australia’s 1988 Bicentennial.
The Sunday Project on 10 (166,000 6:30pm / 199,000 7pm) covered the news that two young men had died after attending festivals in Sydney, and spoke to Collingwood Superfan Dahab Taha to check in on how she was doing after the Magpies AFL Grand Final win. The Graham Norton Show brought in 158,000, before NCIS: Hawai’i rounded out the night with 89,000.
On SBS, the highest rated non-news program was a repeat of Houdini’s Lost Diaries with 63,000 tuning in.
