The Block has topped Total TV overall, lifting 36% to bring in 1,437,000 viewers as the Domain Listings Challenge took place.
On Seven, Home and Away brought in 929,000 viewers, up 24%. Just behind it was the launch of Kitchen Nightmares, lifting 26% and bringing 903,000 to Mumma Jo’s Diner – a tired American-style café in regional NSW.
Hard Quiz saw the Big Brass Mug raised in front of 818,000 on the ABC, up 16%.

Nine has won the night with a 22.0% primary share and a 31.5% network share. 7Two came out on top for multichannels with a 4.1% share.
A Current Affair had 593,000 tune in as the show covered the impacts of the Victorian floods, and spoke to the homeowners who have been told that their properties are being bulldozed to make way for an expanded highway. A flooded shed wasn’t the biggest drama on The Block. 726,000 watched Omar and Oz admitting that they had estimated their tennis court to be about $20,000, but the cost looked more like $70,000. Britney and Kevin – Family Feud then brought in 235,000.
Seven’s Home and Away took 457,000 to Summer Bay. Kitchen Nightmares then headed to Sunshine Coast restaurant Guru Life, turning it around in front of 362,000 hungry viewers. 125,000 then stuck around to watch Extreme Weddings: Australia.
The ABC’s 7.30 investigated how cosmetic surgeons are taking advantage of Medicare and looked at how the ‘rorts and waste’ mantra has been used by the government ahead of the budget for 514,000. Hard Quiz had 528,000 tune in to watch the Big Brass Mug given away, before Question Everything drew a crowd of 381,000… or did it? (It did).
The Project (224,000 6:30pm / 289,000 7pm) covered the movement of companies pulling their contracts with fossil fuel contracts, and interviewed Ella Hooper. A repeat of The Dog House got 231,000 tails wagging, before The Real Love Boat set sail alongside 141,000 viewers.
The highest rating show on SBS was a repeat of Secret Scotland, which had 126,000 tune in.
