ABC’s Vera topped Total TV Ratings with a growth of 638,000 lifting by 21%. It was also the highest-viewed commercial primetime show.

SBS’ The Cotswolds with Pam Ayres grew by 15% for a total audience of 225,000.

Overnight TV Ratings, November 4

Nine enjoyed a Saturday night win in both the network and primary channel shares with 26.5% and 36%, respectively. 7TWO won the multichannels with 3.4%.

Seven’s airing of Border Security – Australia’s Front Line saw 412,000 tune in as biosecurity officers stopped two women from Malaysia who had their plane tickets paid by someone they don’t know. 

Nine’s airing of the ICC World Cup Australia vs England saw 370,000 viewers as the Aussies ended up winning by 33 runs beating the Brits. Australia and New Zealand also faced off in the Pacific Championships Final and the Kangaroos suffered their biggest-ever international loss, with the game ending 30-0. 142,000 tuned in.

On the ABC, Vera saw 325,000 viewers as Vera investigated the death of a man whose remains were found in a remote cave. Shakespeare and Hathaway saw 310,000 tune in as Frank and Lu investigated a death at a Shakespeare-for-hire agency.

10 aired Tom Cruises’ Mission Impossible Rogue Nation to 122,000.

SBS aired The Royals: A History of Scandals to 116,000.

Fox League saw 122,000 tune in to the Pacific Championships Finals where the Kiwis thrashed the Kangaroos ending with 30-0.

Fox Cricket topped STV for Saturday with the ICC World Cup Australia v England match. 172,000 tuned in.
