There were more design dramas on The Block, when Tom and Sarah-Jane noticed that their wrap around verandah didn’t have any stairs. 1,478,000 tuned in, bringing the episode up 34%.
On the ABC, Fisk cracked the 1 million mark after a lift of 59%, with 1,184,000 tuning in to the season premiere. Beforehand, Hard Quiz lifted 13% with 852,000 tuning in. Question Everything rose 9%, bringing in 693,000.
Home and Away lifted 23% for Seven, drawing a crowd of 907,000. Kitchen Nightmares took a trip to Wangaratta to visit Cafe Martini, where Colin Fassnidge was served frozen oysters, overcooked chicken risotto, and an undercooked pizza. 807,000 watched as Colin turned the place around, lifting 32%.
Overnight TV Ratings, November 2
Seven has won the night with a 20.1% primary share and a 29.3% network share. 7Two topped the night for multichannel with a share of 3.7%.
On Seven, Home and Away brought 465,000 to Summer Bay. Kitchen Nightmares then had 469,000 tune in as Colin Fassnidge took a trip to Bateman’s Bay and turned Cooks @ Corrigan around.
A Current Affair on Nine covered the brand new estate with no reception and warned 578,000 against the “Barbie drug.” A repeat of Travel Guides then took 416,000 to Louisiana on the show’s US road trip.
The ABC’s 7.30 covered the national outpouring of grief after the death of 15 year old Cassius Turvey, and interviewed rapper Tasman Keith for 461,000 viewers. It was a Battle of the Duds on Hard Quiz, with 520,000 watching as four contestants played for redemption – making it the top non-news show of the night. Question Everything got spooky, with 437,000 watching as the show dug into Halloween news.
On 10, The Project (301,000 7pm) was joined by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, with the panellists asking him if the country has a problem with racism in light of the death of Cassius Turvey. A repeat of The Dog House brought in 293,000 viewers.
