The Chase on Seven claimed the top spot for the most-watched non-news program on total TV reaching a total audience of 768,000, increasing by 3%.

ABC’s Gardening Australia took out the second spot with 697,000 total viewers and a lift of 16%.

Smother on ABC experienced the highest lift on overnight with 26%, reaching a total TV audience of 272,000.

Seven has dominated the night with a network share of 36.1% and a primary share of 26.1%, while taking out the multichannel win on 7TWO with 3.6%.

Seven’s AFL: Friday Night Football continues to bode well for the network, topping the non-news ratings with 506,000 viewers. Port Adelaide defeated the Western Bulldogs to record their third straight win, 12.14 (86) to 10.9 (69), as 229,000 Melbournians tuned in to watch. The Pre-match, which aired in all metro cities besides Perth, clocked 371,000 views.

Over on Nine, 492,000 tuned in to watch The Chase Australia, while Hot Seat pulled in an audience of 353,000.

Nine’s Friday Night NRL coverage reached an audience of 321,000 with 203,000 of those coming from Sydney. The Eels ended the Panthers’ undefeated run and 21-home game winning streak with a 22-20 win at BlueBet Stadium, as the coverage placed fifth in the 16-39 demographic.

ABC’s top entertainment program was Gardening Australia bringing in an audience of 335,000

On 10, a Mother’s Day special of The Living Room aired which pulled in 290,000 people.

The top non-news program on SBS was a repeat of Great Asian Railway Journeys with 100,000 views.

Fox League’s live coverage of the Panthers v Eels NRL match clocked 290,000 views, making it the most-watched program on subscription TV.

Fox Footy followed behind with 214,000 people watching the Port Adelaide v Western Bulldogs match. 

206,000 tuned in to watch the Raiders dominate the Bulldogs 14-4 on Fox League, while Friday Night Footy reached 113,000 people.
