Total TV Ratings: April 27th
Not only the big winner in overnight ratings, The Voice has come out on top in total TV as well, rising 28% for a total audience of 1.357 million.
On Nine, Travel Guides weren’t too far behind, with a raise of 23% seeing 1.044 million tune in to see the guides head west to Perth and Rottnest Island.
The Thing About Pam was the highest lifter, with episode one rising 58% for a total of 600,000, and episode two rising 74% for a total of 538,000.

Seven has won the night with a primary share of 22.9% and a network share of 31.4%. Coming out on top for the multichannels last night was 7TWO with a share of 3.7%.
On Seven, Home and Away drew a crowd of 484,000, before The Voice had 652,000 tune in to see artists put their best foot forward as the coaches decided who would progress to the battles. By the end of an emotional night, each coach walked away with their final six – Rita Ora feeling so confident that she said “I am so happy with my team; I secretly feel like I may have stolen Guy’s crown and he just doesn’t know it yet!”
The show has continues to strike a chord, coming in as the top non-news show of the evening.
A Current Affair kicked off Nine’s evening for an audience of 586,000 as the show covered the cost of living and the couple who turned $200 into $700,000 with the perfect punt. The Travel Guides then drove (and crashed) boats, shot gel blasters, and herded sheep as they ventured into the South Australian outback for 578,000 viewers.
On 10, The Project had 200,000 (6:30pm) / 332,000 (7pm) tune in to see the panel tackle the Covid-19 situation in China and interview Benedict Cumberbatch. MasterChef brought 399,000 into the kitchen as Curtis Stone oversaw the teams compete in both fast food and fancy dining – with The Faves coming out on top twice. Afterwards, First Dates brought 240,000 along to the restaurant to see romance blossom.
ABC’s 7:30 had 485,000 watch as the show covered the race for the Victorian seat of Goldstein and the leaked draft decision to overturn Roe v Wade. Hard Quiz brought back four people either brave or foolish enough to have a second try at the big brass mug in the Battle of the Duds for an audience of 505,000, before The Weekly With Charlie Pickering skewered Russell Crowe and The Star casino for an audience of 441,000. Finally, Tomorrow Tonight asked 278,000 what would happen if you couldn’t cheat at anything.
On SBS, the highest rating program was MH370: The Lost Flight which drew an audience of 146,000.
