Total TV Ratings, May 13
The Chase on Seven was the top entertainment program on total TV, rising 2% to reach an audience of 890,000.
ABC’s Better Homes and Gardens claimed the second spot with 725,000 total viewers and an increase of 6%.
Over on SBS, the first round of the Eurovision semi-final experienced the highest lift on overnight with 30%, pulling in an audience of 356,000.
Overnight TV Ratings, May 20
Seven has come out on top with a network share of 37.9% and a primary share of 26.0%. Nine had a network share of 24.9% and a primary share of 17.1%.
The Blues went head to head with Sydney on Seven’s AFL: Friday Night Football, pulling in 522,000 viewers, making it the top entertainment program of the night. Carlton recorded a 15-point win against the Swans, cementing their place in the top four. The coverage placed first amongst all key age demographics.
Nine’s Hot Seat was the network’s most-watched program of the night, bringing in 441,000 viewers, while Friday Night NRL clocked 288,000 views. The Eels took on the Sea Eagles at Commbank Stadium in a close game that saw the Eels take out the win 22-20.
ABC’s top program was a special edition of 7:30: Australia Votes, bringing in an audience of 413,000. Leigh Sales interviewed opposition leader Anthony Albanese, while Laura Tingle looked back at the election campaign so far.
On 10, The Living Room was the network’s top entertainment program, reaching 261,000 people as Samuel Johnson and his sister Hilde shared their stories with The Fab Four about love and kindness.
The top non-news program on SBS was an episode of Treasured Decoded with 97,000 views.
STV
Fox Footy has topped subscription TV with its Carlton v Sydney coverage, clocking 275,000 views. The NRL on Fox League pushed the network into spots #2 and #3 with the Eels v Sea Eagles bringing in an audience of 254,000, followed by the West Tigers v Bulldogs match reaching 222,000 people.
Friday Footy on Fox hit an audience of 133,000, while NRL Friday Night Footy reached 98,000 people.
