Lifting by 28% was the debut of 10’s MasterChef Australia, with 1,278,000 tuning in as the cooks entered the kitchen for the first time, joined by guest judge Jamie Oliver.
Seven’s Farmer Wants A Wife came in next, with 1,217,000 watching as the farmers choose their final two ladies, up 27%.
Nine’s Lego Masters: Grand Masters took a trip to Sydney’s Luna Park, lifting 33%. The episode saw the final four teams tasked with replacing one of the horses on the merry-go-round with a Lego creation, with 1,102,000 watching.

Seven has won Sunday night with a primary share of 23.5% and a network share of 31.0%. 9Go! came out on top for multichannels with a 3.3% share.
The road to love has had a happy ending for Farmers David and Matt, with the first part of the Farmer Wants a Wife finale airing on Seven. 668,000 watched as the farmers visited their ladies’ hometowns, before Matt chose Olivia and David chose Emily. 7News Spotlight then took 414,000 behind a sophisticated British scam syndicate.
The Summit premiered to 401,000 on Nine, as the climbers began their trek up the imposing mountain. Kitty was off to a rocky start, although it was ultimately Stephen who was cut loose (literally) first thanks to a twist from the Mountain’s Keeper. 60 Minutes then caught up with Cleo Smith and her family, telling 364,000 what she’s up to and how she’s doing now.
On 10, The Sunday Project (__ 6:30pm / 326,000 7pm) looked into stores using your phone’s Bluetooth and WiFi to track your spending habits, and interviewed Coldplay’s Chris Martin. MasterChef Australia then saw the cooks use their favourite childhood memories as inspiration for the first elimination challenge of the season, with 478,000 tuning in.
On the ABC, Grand Designs took 394,000 to the site of a Derbyshire Longhouse, before 238,000 tuned in for The Messenger. On ABC Kids, Bluey brought in 562,000 viewers as the Heelers drew a dragon quest.
On SBS, Eurovision came to its colourful conclusion. 202,000 watched the final with Australia’s Voyager performing, and 299,000 tuned in as Sweden were crowned the winner – with Australia coming ninth.
