Lifting by a 32% rise was 10’s MasterChef Australia, with 736,000 tuning in to see another Immunity Pin up for grabs. Brent went up against Chef Gabriel Gaté in Beat the Chef and scored tens across the board, winning him a coveted pin.
Nine’s Women’s State of Origin, Game 1 came in next, lifting 12%. Backing up their male counterpart’s win, the Maroons beat the Blues 18 – 10, with QLD debutant Keilee Joseph named the player of the match. 647,000 watched on.

Seven won Thursday night with a primary share of 25.9% and a network share of 40.4%. 7Two has won multi channels with a 4.5% share.
371,000 began their evening in Summer Bay with Seven’s Home and Away. Felicity and Tane’s marriage was put to the test while Marilyn vowed to get justice for her friend. Then 366,000 watched the Sydney Swans verse St Kilda at the SCG in the AFL. The Saints clinched a thriller win over the Swans, 12.8 (80) to 9.12 (66). Meanwhile, 427,000 tuned in for Day 2 of the ICC World Test Aus v India: Australia took control at the Oval by reducing India to 151 for five, with a deficit of 318. 266,000 then stayed on for the Lunch Break and 298,000 watched the second half of the match. Our home side has now put themselves in a position to pull off World Test Championship glory!
Nine’s A Current Affair (563,000) investigated the insurer that won’t pay out a mum clinging to life after a fall in Thailand and detailed the story of a 93-year-old man and his 88-year-old wife who were asleep when intruders broke in. 246,000 then watched the Gold Coast Titans take on the Wests Tigers in NRL Thursday Night Footy. The Tigers were beaten 28-12 with NSW Blues hooker Api Koroisau suffering a broken jaw and halfback Luke Brooks sustaining a hamstring injury.
On 10, The Project’s (157,000 6:30pm / 213,000 7pm) Georgie Tunny interviewed Spider-Man superhero Tom Holland via satellite and the team also looked at Prince Harry’s second day in court in his trial against British tabloids. According to the former Royal, he brought the case because of the hatred incited towards his wife, Meghan Markle. Then on MasterChef Australia, it was the final night of Home Cooks vs Pro Cooks. Chef Ross Magnaye and his team, Shane Stafford and Leandro Miranda from Serai in Melbourne took on MC contestants Theo, Brent and Rue. While Brent impressed the judges with his “best cook” yet, Team Serai took the win, sending the three Home Cooks into Sunday’s elimination. 393,000 tuned in.

327,000 watched ABC’s 7.30 reveal exclusive details of another incident allegedly involving Ben Roberts-Smith during a mission in Afghanistan and Sarah Ferguson interviewed Housing Minister Julie Collins. 151,000 then watched Grand Designs New Zealand where a site with a river running through was perfect for Harlem and Nicola who attempted to build a glass house on a bridge over the water.
