982,000 watched Seven’s Home and Away where lives were on the line for some of the Bay’s most loved residents as an explosion rocked the fictitious seaside town, up 21%.
828,000 tuned into the second episode of Parental Guidance season two. During this instalment, the focus was once again on the Outback, Gentle, Lighthouse and Honest parents, up 34%.
755,000 watched day two of Home Cooks versus Pro Cooks Week on MasterChef Australia. Three contestants, Ralph, Malissa and Phil, took on chefs from Nu Nu in Palm Cove, QLD, up 28%.

Seven won Wednesday night with a primary share of 17.8% and a network share of 26.9%. 7Two has won multi channels with a 3.8% share.
481,000 began their evening in Summer Bay with Seven’s Home and Away as Tane and Felicity contemplated whether they were ready for the next step in their marriage, Marilyn ruled with an iron fist and Rose lay down the law with Cash. 273,00 then stayed on to watch the second episode of Million Dollar Island. While one hundred players started, 94 remained, competing to win the huge prize pot and in the battle for bracelets, a new player won the power to decide who will risk everything in the arena.
Nine’s A Current Affair (637,000) honoured the ten lives lost during the Hunter Valley bus crash on Sunday, June 11 and spoke with the NSW Ambulance Commissioner Dr Dominic Morgan who said he understood the gravity of the situation immediately after hearing audio from first responders. Then on Parental Guidance, the four spotlight parenting styles were put to the test as the kids were tasked with preparing dinner for the family. A heated debate took place in the Parent’s Lounge as Stage mum Sarah was questioned over her outlook on body image. 420,000 tuned in.

On 10, The Project (175,000 6:30pm / 285,000 7pm) welcomed Aussie performer Dannii Minogue to the desk and also looked at how the Hunter Valley community is still trying to come to terms with the scale of the loss following the tragic bus crash. Then, on MasterChef Australia, 501,000 watched Adi, Theo and Grace take on a Pressure Test like no other! The cooks had to replicate an iconic pho by taste which proved to be an overwhelming challenge for Grace, whose broth was ultimately too fatty to avoid elimination. 395,000 then tuned into The Cheap Seats.
444,000 watched ABC’s 7.30 speak to the first fire crew to arrive at the scene of the bus crash on Sunday night who spoke of the extraordinary rescue that took place and Sarah Ferguson interviewed former investment analyst Dean Parkin. Then, 329,000 watched The ABC Of. This week, host David Wenham sat down with the grande dame of Australian comedy, Wendy Harmer. 291,000 then watched The Platypus Garden.
The highest rating non-news show on SBS was Who Do You Think You Are? with 206,000 tuning in to see actor Kerry Armstrong who was amazed to discover a line of rebellious and free-spirited women in her family’s history.
