Taking the title in total TV was Seven’s Home and Away, with a lift of 23% bringing an audience of 963,000.
On the ABC, Hard Quiz lifted 13% for a total of 936,000, and The Weekly brought in 890,000 after an 11% lift. You Can’t Ask That had a total audience of 665,000 after a 33% lift.
MasterChef had a total of 799,000 tune in as the teams faced a service challenge for 60 diners at Werribee Mansion. Jumping 48% was Big Brother, which had a total of 795,000 watching all fourteen housemates get locked into a ‘party cage’ for 24-hours. Celebrity Apprentice lifted 29%, with 652,000 watching as Lord Sugar sent the celebrities on a scavenger hunt to test their negotiation skills.

Nine has won the night with a primary share of 19.4% and a network share of 28.4%. Winning the title for multichannels was 7TWO with a 4.0% share.
On Nine, A Current Affair had 596,000 watch as they interviewed a man who built his dream car only to have it stolen, and spoke to the Ukrainian girl who flew halfway around the world to Australia to escape war. Afterwards, Celebrity Apprentice hit its halfway point, with 415,000 tuning in to see the celebrities run their own liquidation sale. Ultimately Lord Sugar decided that it was Eloni Vunakece who should be fired.
After revealing the economic impact of Home and Away earlier in the day, Seven had 490,000 tune into the long-running soap. Afterwards, Big Brother had 323,000 watch Lulu get evicted after she and Tim failed the panic room challenge dismally.
On 10, The Project (250,000 6:30pm / 384,000 7pm) discussed copyright laws as Winnie the Pooh gets his own slasher film, and covered the restrictions on LGBTIQA+ people donating blood. The MasterChef cooks left the kitchen, heading to the Van Gogh exhibit in The Lume, Melbourne. 498,000 tuned in as the Green Team took the victory. Rounding out the night, Five Bedrooms brought in a crowd of 233,000.
The ABC’s 7.30 covered the hundreds of sets of unidentified remains stored in morgues around the country, and asked how the 47th parliament will adjust to the presence of a big crossbench for an audience of 565,000. Hard Quiz kicked off the Wednesday night comedy lineup as 547,000 watched Jim win the big brass mug with his knowledge of Green Day. 526,000 stuck around for The Weekly With Charlie Pickering, before You Can’t Ask That interviewed people who had been diagnosed with post-partum depression for an audience of 320,000.
The highest rating show on SBS was Tony Robinson: WWII By Drone which drew a crowd of 172,000.
