1,108,000 settled in for the premiere of ABC’s new drama Bay of Fires starring Marta Dusseldorp, lifting a whopping 87%.
1,033,000 viewed Seven’s Dancing with the Stars: Semi-Finals Part One. With the judges and audience votes combined, Gavin Wanganeen, Issa Shultz and James Magnussen were eliminated, up 13%.

Seven has won Sunday night with a primary share of 24.7% and a network share of 32.9%. 9Gem has won multi channels with a 4.7% share.
702,000 began their evening with Seven’s Dancing with the Stars Grand Final. The six grand finalists: Christie Whelan Browne, Mary Coustas, Paulini Curunevali, Virginia Gay, Emily Weir and Phil Burton took to the floor to dance their hearts out in the ultimate ballroom showdown. Ultimately, it came down to the top two, Burton and Weir, with the Human Nature alum snatching the Mirror Ball Trophy! 317,000 then tuned in for 7News Spotlight where Charles Wooley returned to showcase the breathtaking landscapes, untouched beauty and hidden paradise of Australia’s Top End.
Earlier in the afternoon the Giants took on the Suns at Manuka Oval. The Giants took the win, finishing 15.13 (103) to 9.9 (63) in front of 300,000 TV viewers.

Over on Nine, 530,000 tuned info 60 Minutes which saw an investigation into a national scandal, the failure to secure our borders. The program also looked at China’s bizarre plan to silence pro-democracy activists by offering cash bounties for their capture. 333,000 then watched another instalment of The Murder of Lyn Dawson. After 40 years, it looked as though Christopher Dawson would never face justice until The Teacher’s Pet podcast investigation was released and spurred authorities into action. 213,000 then watched the World Aquatics Championships.
Earlier in the afternoon, the Sea Eagles took on the Sharks at Pointsbet Stadium. Manly beat Cronulla 30 to 26 in front of 183,000. The Sharks were losing 30-0 after 45 minutes, before scoring four tries in the last 20 minutes to miraculously get within four points.
165,000 watched ABC’s Compass which looked at how music is a vehicle for self-discovery, improves mental health and builds strong communities. Then, 437,000 sat down for Restoration Australia as host Anthony Burke met a young couple who turned a big crumbling church in remote South Australia into a family home. Drama Bay of Fires was next as Stella (Dusseldorp) and her kids became more acquainted with Mystery Bay and its inhabitants; however, Stella was confronted with the dangerous realities of her situation. 369,000 watched on. 125,000 also viewed The Beast Must Die.
Earlier, 71,000 tuned in for a repeat of Bluey. When Dad complains about how dissimilar Bluey and Bingo are, Bluey hatches a plan to make them more alike and happily introduces Mini-Bluey. Cute!
On 10, The Sunday Project (194,000 (6:30pm) / 269,000 (7pm)) looked at the bizarre new trend on TikTok that sees streamers pretend to be ‘NPCs’ (non-player characters) for hours on end, repeating phrases and actions as viewers send them gifts; while also speaking to a Sydney mum, Karen Thorne, (who lives with a disability) who says she was evicted after asking her landlord for NDIS-approved modifications. Then, on Hunted Australia, 374,000 tuned in to see a long-awaited capture for the Hunters as boxer/coach duo, Taylah and Glenn were eliminated and a bad decision landed two fugitives in hot water.
