The ABC’s Utopia was up 44%, with 1,060,000 watching as Tony was frozen out by the Minister when he was reluctant to announce a new project, and Scott started an NBA TikTok account. Gruen wasn’t far behind, up 34% for a total audience of 930,000.
Nine’s repeat of Travel Guides took 792,000 to Mauritius, up 10%.
It was day two of the MasterChef road trip, and the contestants found themselves in Cactus Country. 717,000 tuned in, up 29%.
Seven’s Animals Aboard with Dr Harry followed cancer-stricken Labrador Lily as she faced a 24-hour flight. Up 11% for a total audience of 488,000.

Nine has won Wednesday night with a primary share of 36.3% and a network share of 42.6%. The top multuchannel was 7Two with 2.8%.
The final match in the 2023 State of Origin saw the Blues manage to avoid a whitewash, winning 24-10 over the Maroons as 1,476,000 tuned into Game Three. Nine also reports that the match recorded a Live BVOD Audience of 471,000 (up 2% year-on-year).
Whilst it may have been too little too late for the series, it would certainly have put a smile on the faces of the 628,000 viewers in the Sydney market – perhaps less so for the 535,000 in Brisbane.
470,000 started their evening in Summer Bay on Seven, before Animals Aboard with Dr. Harry joined drug detection dog Tommy on a mission to Thursday Island. 253,000 tuned in as two rescued turtles swapped the sea for the sky. Ambulance Code Red brought in 165,000, before those who prefer AFL to NRL tuned into The Front Bar – 250,000 all up, 152,000 in Melbourne.
ABC’s 7.30 looked at electricity prices, and then investigated whether streaming giants are “killing Australian stories” for 469,000. Rhonda forced Tony to fast track a long-term rail project on Utopia, taking 498,000 along for the ride. Gruen dug into the marketing behind Barbie for 415,000, with Gold Diggers rounding out the night for 159,000.
On 10, The Project (210,000 6:30pm / 339,000 7pm) looked into a study that revealed half of Tinder users aren’t actually interested in meeting people in real life, and interviewed Matilda superstar Ellie Carpenter. Steak night on MasterChef saw the cooks take on Curtis Stone in a carbon neutral beef cook-off, with 455,000 tuning in. Riptide then drew a crowd of 155,000.
The highest non-news show on SBS was stage 11 of the Tour De France, with 92,000 tuning in.
