884,000 tuned in for ABC’s Back Roads, joining a journey on the Strzelecki Track, starting near Lyndhurst in SA and heading into the Strzelecki Desert, up 12%.
843,000 saw 10’s MasterChef Australia. During the episode, Brent wowed the judges, scoring himself a chance to earn a one-way ticket to Finals week, up 23%.

Nine’s A Current Affair (732,000) looked at 10-year-old Bella who went from a paradise to a world of pain while she was on holiday. Now there’s a race to do whatever it takes to stop her immense suffering. Then, 297,000 watched Rush. The teams were dropped into the world’s most colourful festival, Holi in India, and attended a spectacular Indian wedding before visiting a sacred rat temple before 118,000 watched Wimbledon.
461,000 began their evening in Summer Bay with Seven’s Home and Away. During the episode, Remi let Mercedes down gently and Bree overheard a shocking secret. Million Dollar Island followed as Finals Week began. As the million-dollar prize pot was within reach, starvation continued to take a toll on Log camp and the hunger games reached a dramatic climax. 256,000 watched on. Then, 175,000 tuned in for US series, 9-1-1 Lone Star.
On 10, The Project (181,000 6:30pm / 301,000 7pm) welcomed Cath from MasterChef Australia who just missed out on making it to Finals Week and also detailed how a crucial Victorian elder abuse support service is losing its funding. MasterChef Australia then followed as an emotional Mystery Box held the key to the Semi-Final. Brent won the dish of the day, which meant Rhiannon, Declan and Theo are now set to battle it out in tonight’s Pressure Test where someone will go home. 568,000 tuned in. Then, 613,000 watched Have You Been Paying Attention. Host Tom Gleisner got into the Barbie spirit with hilarious results and Ed Kavalee and TV Week Logies host Sam Pang were joined by Hayley Sproull, Lloyd Langford and Kitty Flanagan to see if they’ve been…well, paying attention!

The highest rating non-news show on SBS was Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes with 94,000 tuning in to see European Cup-winning Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott join Robson Green on his mission to find new ways of engaging with the great outdoors.
