Seven

After three nights close to 650,000 Home and Away was on 537,000 with the audience watching across Seven and 7TWO.

The AFL featured a David and Goliath clash with Richmond facing off against the Gold Coast Suns. You guessed it – David won in a thriller. An audience of 485,000 watched the Suns hold off the Tiger’s challenge in the last few minutes of the game.

Nine

On what would have been the 60th birthday of Princess Diana, A Current Affair wasn’t going to miss the chance to examine her legacy and the apparent feud between her sons. The show assembled a formidable panel of royal experts to do their best. But the audience had to wait a little for that. The episode started again looking at the vaccine rollout and the anti-vaxxers and delivered a second 700,000+ audience. The show has had a big week, a fitting way to celebrate host Tracy Grimshaw’s 40 years with Nine.

The NRL clash featured Roosters taking on the Storm. It was another one-sided affair with the Storm thrashing the Rosters 46-0. The audience was 347,000 across Nine and GO! Because the tennis was on Gem. The tennis audience early was 115,000.

The final immunity pin was on offer on MasterChef. Elise, Linda and Justin competed against each other with Linda ultimately wowing the judges and avoiding the forthcoming Sunday elimination. The Thursday audience of 583,000 also learnt Linda had become the first contestant through to Finals Week.

The doco The Battle for Britney followed with the audience drifting to 219,000.

ABC

7.30 just made it to 600,000 for its last episode of the week.

Foreign Correspondent followed on 394,000.

Q+A was hosted by David Speers in Melbourne and in a week of much confusing vaccine discussion, the episode delivered a sensible discussion. One of the stars on a great guest list was Sydney Liberal MP Jason Falinski who managed to go where some of his colleagues have avoided. The audience deserved to be bigger with 325,000 watching.

The audience really tumbled then though for Australia Debates, down to just 86,000.

SBS

A Great Asian Railway Journeys repeat was on 150,000.

Series 5, episode 1 of The Good Fight screened at 8.30pm with 84,000 watching.

Stage 6 of the Tour de France then saw the audience climb higher to 128,000.
