Nine enjoyed a Saturday night win in the network and primary shares with 28.9% and 36.2%, respectively. 7mate won the multichannels with 4.1%.
Seven’s coverage of the third day of the second Australia vs West Indies Test saw 498,000 viewers tune in. The day ended with Australia needing 156 runs to win the series.
Nine’s coverage of Day 14 of the Australian Open saw 878,000 tune in to see Aryna Sabalenka beat Qinwen Zheng to win the Australian Open women’s final. She is now the first woman to win back-to-back Australian Open titles in 11 years. Having not dropped a set in the tournament, Sabalenka triumphed with 6-3, 6-2 in the final, winning in just over an hour of play.
On the ABC, Vera saw 347,000 viewers as Vera was called to the scene of a car crash, only to realise that the crash wasn’t accidental. Darby and Joan saw 350,000 tune in as preparations for Joan’s first Australian Christmas were put on hold after a scuba dive went wrong and Joan and Jack discovered the near drowning was really a case of sabotage.
10 aired The Dog House to 106,000 as Shane, the slobbering bulldog claimed ownership of singleton Lisa. Jamie’s Ingredient Mediterranean also saw 105,000 tune in.
SBS aired Cotswolds and Beyond with Pam Ayres to 65,000 as the program visited Stonehenge to explore the ancient stone circle with private access while chatting with experts.
