Nine’s A Current Affair rose 7% for a total TV audience of 704,000 as the program met with the doctors who feel sick about how easy it is to get prescription drugs.
ABC’s Gardening Australia increased by 20% to bring in 625,000, while Van Der Valk also rose by 20% for 425,000.
Taskmaster on 10 had the highest lift on overnight with 51% to reach a total audience of 216,000.
Overnight TV Ratings, February 24
Seven has won the Saturday night shares with a primary channel share of 20.9% and a network share of 30.4%, while 7TWO topped multichannels with a 3.6% share.
Topping entertainment for the night on Seven was The Chase, reaching 393,000, followed by Better Homes and Gardens, which saw Joh and Charlie go on a food tour of Vancouver, clocking 387,000.
Nine’s top program was A Current Affair, with 488,000. On the program, electronic retailer, The Good Guys became aware of a data breach that occurred in 2021. Earlier in the night, Hot Seat reached 318,000, followed by For The Love Of Pets with 284,000.
On the ABC, the Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert kicked off with a bang, pulling in 214,000 views. Kylie Minogue headlined the event with a surprise performance from Dannii Minogue. Also performing were British singer Charli XCX and Australian artist Jessica Mauboy. Casey Donovan and Courtney Act hosted the event.

On 10, 239,000 tuned into The Graham Norton Show as he met with Ant-Man’s Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, alongside Hugh Jackman, Dame Judi Dench, Michael B Jordan, Eugene Levy and Pink.
The highest-rated non-news show on SBS was Wrecks That Changed The World, with 114,000.
STV
Rockwiz on Fox8 topped the subscription TV charts with 40,000 views, followed by Credlin on Sky News Live with 38,000. The AFL practice match between West Coast and Port Adelaide clocked 32,000. Fox Cricket’s ICC Women’s T20 World Cup pulled in 31,000 in its semi-final.
