763,000 watched the women’s semi-finals of the Australian Open on Nine, with Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina taking on Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, up 8%. While 706,000 saw Poland’s Magda Linette defeated by Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, up 9%.
Seven’s Home and Away brought in 873,000 viewers, lifting 33%.
On 10, a repeat of Ambulance Australia saw a bystander call in a crash in the heart of Brisbane CBD involving a motorcyclist and taxi. 322,000 tuned in to see our everyday heroes try to save a man by the road, lifting by 5%.
There was no 7.30 on ABC as the broadcaster devoted the time slot to an Australia Day Live, a concert for the country to celebrate the Australian spirit, featuring performances by Casey Donovan, Dami Im, Christine Anu, William Barton, Isaiah Firebrace and James Morrison. The free-to-air production saw 444,000 tune in with a lift of 6%.

Nine has won the night with a primary share of 23.7% and a network share of 31.4%. 10Bold and 7Mate won the night for multichannels with a 3.3% share, a piece.
On Nine’s A Current Affair, the series investigated why household gas bills are set to surge by up to $1000 in some parts of the country and we witnessed a tiler incite rooftop revenge after allegedly not being paid by a builder. 596,000 tuned in to watch the altercation. Married At First Sight continued with two more weddings, with 704,000 watching as the very Aussie Shannon and Caitlin met at the altar with a heartwarming and funny interaction and Alyssa and Duncan were blown away by their instant connection.

457,000 began their evening in Summer Bay with Seven’s Home and Away, before tuning in to watch the semi-finals of the Big Bash League as the Sydney Sixers took on the Brisbane Heat at the SCG. 352,000 watched as the Heat advanced to their second ever BBL Grand Final, beating the Sixers by four wickets.
On 10, The Project (150,000 6.30pm / 220,000 7pm) hosted comedian Luke McGregor who shared the exciting news that he is engaged and the desk welcomed mega superstars Paul Rudd and Jonathan Majors who are in Australia promoting their new Marvel film, Ant-Man.
