Total TV Ratings, August 6
Day nine of the Commonwealth Games topped the total TV ratings for non-news programs, bringing in 723,000 viewers and rising by 3%.
ABC claimed the #2 spot with Grantchester, reaching a total TV audience of 702,000 and experiencing a lift of 32%
Mystery Road on ABC reached 441,000 views and increased by 20%.
Overnight TV Ratings, August 13
Winning the Saturday network shares was Seven with 38.6%, followed by Nine with 23.9%. Seven took out the primary channel win with 24.9%, while 7mate claimed the multichannel win with an 8.5% share.
Helping Seven secure the Saturday win was 7News, clocking 685,000 views, and Seven’s: AFL Saturday Night Football, reaching an audience of 557,000. 271,000 tuned in from Melbourne to watch Melbourne take on Cartlon to win 11.13 (79) to 10.14 (74). The coverage topped all the key age demographics.
On Nine, 9News clocked 636,000 views, while Getaway had a viewership of 300,000 as Lincoln Lewis visited Hawaii. Saturday Night NRL reached an audience of 207,000 as the Broncos dominated the Knights 28 – 10.
On ABC, Grantchester was the most-watched entertainment program of the night. The series brought in an audience of 382,000, with 128,000 tuning in from Melbourne, while a repeat of Endeavour reached 259,000.
10 News First was the most viewed program on 10 with 195,000 views, followed by a repeat of The Dog House with 182,000.
SBS aired an episode of Who Do You Think You Are? which reached an audience of 231,000.
STV
Fox League has claimed the top spot on subscription TV with its coverage of Wests Tigers V Sharks, which saw the Sharks come away with a 36-12 win, reaching 234,000 views.
Fox Footy’s Melbourne v Carlton coverage came second, bringing in 214,000 people. The match between the Broncos and the Knights on Fox League came third, clocking 209,000 views.
