Overnight TV Ratings, August 11
Seven inched out the Friday night primary channel shares with 26.3% and also won the network share section with 40.6%. 7mate won the multichannels with 5.6%.
In the AFL, Collingwood went head-to-head with the Cats as the game ended 109-101 in front of 525,000 on Seven’s Friday Night AFL. 334,000 Melbourne residents tuned in to watch the match. Earlier in the night, The Chase aired to 494,000, while Better Homes and Gardens saw 270,000 as Joh and Adam embarked on a road trip through Northern Ireland to Belfast.
Nine’s Friday night NRL pulled in an audience of 306,000 as the Broncos showed up the Eels ending with 54-10. Nine’s top program of the night was A Current Affair which saw 520,000 tune in as the program met with a homicide detective who weighed in on the baffling mushroom deaths.
On ABC, First Weapons topped entertainment with 207,000, as the program looked into Australia’s most lethal boomerang.
On 10, 187,000 tuned into the new episode of Location, Location, Location and Have You Been Paying Attention? clocked 141,000 viewers.
The highest-rated non-news program on SBS was World’s Most Scenic River Journeys with 78,000.

The Broncos V Eels match on Fox League came in second on the chart with the Broncos smashing the Eels 54-10 at the Gabba in Brisbane. 203,000 tuned in. 134,000 tuned in to watch the Sharks show up the Titans 36-6.
