Seven has continued to enjoy a golden run in the ratings thanks to the consistent success of its Commonwealth Games coverage. With the Comm Games taking up most of Seven’s schedule yesterday, the broadcaster had a #1 primary channel share of 25.2% and a #1 network share of 34.1%. The day saw Australia continue its gold rush by winning another nine gold medals.

On Nine, A Current Affair had 660,000 viewers as the program covered the story of a 96-year-old woman who waited 22 hours for an Ambulance. Beauty and the Geek then followed with 497,000 viewers as Mega Makeover Monday saw four makeovers revealed before Emily and Jason were sent home.
On 10, Hunted had 546,000 viewers as two more fugitives were captured in Lavinia and Matt. Have You Bee Paying Attention? had 581,000 viewers for its 250th episode which featured Amanda Keller, Kitty Flanagan, Aaron Chen, Sam Pang and Ed Kavalee. It was a good night for 10 as HYBPA? and Hunted were the #1 and #2 programs in all key demos.
On the ABC, Back Roads took 476,000 viewers to Tumut in New South Wales before Four Corners had 402,000 viewers. Media Watch then had 394,000 tune in.
The top non-news program on SBS was Saving Lives at Sea which had 77,000 viewers.
