Wimbledon, the most prestigious tennis tournament of all, begins Monday, June 28, and will be broadcast live on 9Gem and 9Now.
Every match of Wimbledon 2021 will also stream ad-free, live and on demand, on Stan Sport, bringing subscribers all the action from every court.
Australia’s own world No. 1, Ash Barty is through to the third round as Nick Kyrgios leads the charge for the men’s division heading into the third round as well.
After coming off the clay courts of the French Open, the Wimbledon grass awaits the world’s best players, with Roger Federer going for his ninth victory here and Grand Slam title number 21.
Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece, after going down in his first Grand Slam final to Novak Djokovic in five sets at the French Open, will be out to go one better.
But the man to beat again is Djokovic, the defending Wimbledon champion who has already won two Grand Slams this year, adding Roland Garros to his Australian Open title.
The Aussie men’s side saw Alex de Minaur, John Millman, Alex Bolt, Alexei Popyrin, Nick Kyrgios, James Duckworth and Jordan Thompson compete for a grand slam title. While Ajla Tomljanovic and Sam Stosur also competed for the women’s side.
Andy Murray and Venus Williams have been awarded the tournament’s wildcard entries.
With more names being confirmed as we approach the start of tournament, all the action will be on 9Gem with commentators Roz Kelly, Todd Woodbridge, Sam Groth, Jelena Dokic and Brett Phillips.
The broadcast begins at 7.30pm on Monday, June 28, running through to Saturday, July 3. With no play on Sunday, July 4, the action resumes on Monday, July 5, at 7.30pm, right up to the women’s final which will be broadcast live on Saturday, July 10, from 10.30pm, and the men’s final on Sunday, July 11, from 10.30pm.
