The Adelaide Strikers will be looking for a back-to-back WBBL title as they go up against the Brisbane Heat in the WBBL Final at Adelaide Oval.
The Adelaide Strikers v Brisbane Heat starts at 7:00 pm AEST on December 2 on Seven.
Seven’s coverage of Saturday’s WBBL Final will feature Lisa Sthalekar, Kirby Short, Emma Freedman and Andy Maher, live from Adelaide Oval.
The Adelaide Strikers have been the team to beat this season and will prove a tough challenge for the Brisbane Heat after the team had to reach the final the hard way after three defeats towards the end of the round-robin phase.
Heat Batter Grace Harris will be a standout for the team, currently holding a strike rate of 171.12.
Adelaide Strikers captain Tahlia McGrath said: “Every time we play each other it comes down to the wire. I’ve seen a lot of… they’ve got the best batting attack and we’ve got the best bowling attack and we are excited for the challenge. There’s a bit of extra spice but it’s all fun and games.”
Brisbane Heat captain Jess Jonassen said: “We do have the confidence and if that’s perceived as something else then so be it. We back the style of play that we have, we believe in that, and ultimately that’s what it comes down to, we are really clear as a team what we are about.”
