The Voice: Generations will be wrapping up on Seven and 7Plus, with the grand finale airing Wednesday, February 2nd at 7:30pm.
Multiple ARIA and Grammy Award winner Keith Urban, UK hit machine Rita Ora, mega-selling singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian, and singing and acting sensation Jessica Mauboy are back in the spinning chairs, with Sonia Kruger back as host.
Going through to the finale for Keith Urban are Ty and Eddie, Rita Ora is taking Caitlin and Tim, Guy Sebastian will be showcasing The Wenas, and Jessica Mauboy will be represented by Kelsi & Jessica.
Father and son duo Ty and Eddie are rock and roll fanatics. Ty, a successful singer-songwriter, has penned chart-topping hits and toured as the support act for Midnight Oil, Rod Stewart, and Hoodoo Gurus, while young Eddie styles himself like Angus Young and has played in a KISS tribute band.
Caitlin was a professional gymnast but gave up her Olympic dreams following a devastating accident. Caitlin’s dad Tim supported her through her recovery period and now the tables have turned. Caitlin is her dad’s rock, helping him through his own personal battles. Together they have come to The Voice: Generations to strengthen their bond and win the series.
The Wenas are a fun-loving family that live, sing, dress, and party together. Their household is influenced by the family’s Congolese heritage where music and singing at home is a way of life. Eldest daughter Jael, leads the group of six and has already achieved success when she represented Australia at Junior Eurovision in 2018.
Music teacher Kelsi took Jessica on as her student before realising how much they have in common. They went to the same school, have played the same stages, have played Disney princesses and are both tap-dancing pros. They’ve lived double lives but a decade apart. Despite singing together they have never shared the stage, until now on The Voice: Generations.
Voting for The Voice: Generations finale is now open, and will close around 8:20pm AEDT tonight. To vote, SMS the team name to 0421 267 738.
