The Masked Singer Australia is coming to an end for another year, with the finale kicking off at 7.30pm October 5th on 10 and 10 Play On Demand.
Leading the nation’s biggest guessing game is a crack unit of powerhouse detectives: Dannii Minogue, Dave Hughes, Jackie O and Urzila Carlson. Up on the stage keeping the madness under control is host, Osher Günsberg.
In the grand finale episode of The Masked Singer Australia, taking to the stage for the last time will be the three masks left in the competition: Mullet, Dolly, and Vampire.
Having revealed themselves so far this year are:
Volcano – Vinnie Jones
Duster – George Calombaris
Professor – Ben Lee
Pinata – Lote Tuqiri
Pavlova – Mahalia Barnes
Atlantis – Macy Gray
Lightning – Alli Simpson
Baby – Ella Hooper
Kebab – Jack Vidgen
The celebrities under the remaining three masks could be absolutely anyone. Earlier this month Mediaweek caught up with 10 ViacomCBS’s head of entertainment Stephen Tate about what to expect from the year’s biggest costume party.
“I probably shouldn’t say this, but if there is anything positive to come out of Covid, it’s that it helps with casting because so many amazing people are available,” said Tate. “The people that are under the masks this year will absolutely astound you. They would have been touring the world or doing festivals right now. The performance and recording industries have been very hard hit by Covid. We’re one of the few gigs where they can actually work.”
