The Bledisloe Cup continues this Saturday from 4.30pm AEST when the Wallabies meet the All Blacks in a do-or-die test at Eden Park in Auckland, screening live on Channel Nine, 9Gem, 9Now, and with ad-free, on-demand coverage on Stan Sport.
After a second-half surge and a narrow 33-25 loss in Game One last weekend, Australia are finally building the momentum needed to break their Eden Park curse in Game Two and keep their Bledisloe Cup dreams alive.
Coverage will be presented by the Wide World of Sports and Stan Sport commentary lineup, hosted by Roz Kelly and Nick McCardle, and featuring All Blacks superstars Sonny Bill Williams and Andrew Mehrtens. Wallaby greats Tim Horan, Drew Mitchell, Morgan Turinui and Justin Harrison will break down all the action, assisted by Allana Ferguson.
Captain Michael Hooper and coach Dave Rennie have been heartened by the Wallabies’ late surge that kept the All Blacks on their toes in Game One after being down by 25 points at one stage. But the All Blacks want the series wrapped up two-nil and the Bledisloe Cup staying in Auckland, home to the trophy for the last 19 years.
If the Wallabies win on Saturday, not only will they break their winless 35-year Eden Park curse – it keeps the Bledisloe Cup series alive for the Game Three decider in Perth on Saturday, August 28, that doubles as a Rugby Championship fixture.
The Bledisloe Cup marks the start of the Wallabies’ campaign for the 2021 Rugby Championship, with all Australian fixtures to be screened live on the Nine Network and Stan Sport.
