The seventh season of The Bachelorette Australia will see proud Noongar-Yamatji woman Brooke Blurton, take control of her love story as she searches for The One from Wednesday, 20 October at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.
After leaving The Bachelor season six and Bachelor In Paradise season two single, Brooke is hoping it’s third time lucky.
Having grown up in Yamatji country in Western Australia, the mental health advocate and Indigenous youth social worker, is looking for someone special to share life’s journey with.
As for Brooke, true love is about making a soul connection with the person inside, no matter who they are. For the first time in The Bachelorette Australia, the net of love has been cast wider, and we will see both men and women vie for the Bachelorette’s heart.
Getting his arrows in order, is TV’s cupid/ultimate wingman/host Osher Günsberg, who returns to guide Brooke on the next – and hopefully final – chapter of her love story.
Mediaweek caught up with the show’s executive producer at Network 10 Hilary Innes about what to expect from this world first.
“We didn’t change the way we approached it,” said Innes. “The format remains the same but to be true to her story we’ve stepped out of the world of heterosexuality into a more inclusive world. It’s about time and it’s a story for now.”

About Brooke
Brooke is no stranger when it comes to putting her heart on the line.
She first appeared on screens as a contender to secure the ‘Honey Badger’s’ heart in the 2018 season of The Bachelor Australia, but abruptly quit the show towards the end of the season after following her truth. The following year, she appeared on Bachelor In Paradise where she enjoyed a brief summer romance with fellow bachelorette, Alex Nation.
Brooke said: “I am so ready for this. I’ve done it twice before and now, having the opportunity to choose my person and who I want in my life, is a truly unique and special experience.”
About The Contestants
