After their 3-1 victory last Friday, the Socceroos are squaring up for their second match against Ecuador, to be held at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Tuesday night. Coverage begins at 7pm AEDT, with kick off at 7:30pm AEDT.
The second clash against La Tri will be broadcast live on 10 Bold and streamed live via 10 Play and Paramount+.
In the previous game, held at Sydney’s CommBank Stadium, the three Socceroos goals came from Jackson Irvine, Awer Mabil, and Garang Kuol – with Kuol scoring his maiden international goal and becoming the fourth youngest goalscorer in Socceroos history, aged 18.
The series between the two teams is the first time that the Socceroos have played in Australia since their performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The 2022 World Cup was Australia’s best ever performance, with the final Socceroos match against Argentina (who would go on to win the tournament) drawing in a total 1.7m Australian viewers despite the time zone difference.

Speaking about selecting the players who would be donning the Socceroos colours to take on Ecuador on Tuesday, coach Graham Arnold said: “Everyone’s pulled up, except Harry [Souttar] who copped a knock late in the game. The medical staff reviewed him to see how he was and said that he wouldn’t be properly available for Tuesday night. The swelling would have taken too long to come down, so he’s gone back home early to try and get himself ready for his game (Leicester City vs Crystal Palace) on the weekend.
“We’ve got to have faith in more than one person, and you’ll see Bailey Wright step in for him tomorrow (Tuesday) night. He’s doing great at his club, but he’s also done great for us every time he’s played and started and I look forward to seeing him and other players prosper.”
