After seven episodes of matchmaking, the finale of My Mum Your Dad will see the parents and their relationships undergo the ultimate trial of love – the Blessing Ceremony.
With Eight parents remaining (four couples), the choice is now up to their children to give their blessing and round out the show’s second season.
The finale premieres on November 20 at 7:30 pm on Channel Nine and 9Now.
Masi and Nadia, Dani and Wes, Bec and Ben, and Simmo and Janine are the final four couples headed into the Blessing Ceremony, placing the final say into their children’s hands.
Which kids will be making the decision?:
• Brandon and Jake – Wes and Dani
• Harper and Mona – Masi and Nadia
• Gracie, Jasmine and Jaxon – Bec and Ben
• Sarah and Tiarn – Simmo and Janine
Episode seven revealed some hard truths for some couples and some letters from loved ones.
The parents each penned heartfelt letters to their children in a chance to open up about how they feel about their newfound connections.
“Here in my hot little hands are letters your parents have written to you,” Kate told the sons and daughters.
The remaining couples were then headed off on their final fates before the Blessing Ceremony and host Kate Langbroek arranged a special final date for each couple outside the retreat.
Ben and Bec had a romantic dinner at an Italian restaurant, while Dani and Wes enjoyed a riverside lunch.
Masi and Nadia had their final date at Sydney Harbour, with their connection having grown stronger, but the question remained whether their love would survive in the real world. Masi expressed that he’s never felt this way about anyone before, while Nadia confessed that she was falling in love with Masi.
