I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here’s grand finale will see Australia decide who will be crowned king or queen of the South African jungle. It could be Queen Aesha, King Harry or Queen Liz as all will be revealed on Sunday 30th April at 7:30 pm on 10 and 10 Play.
In the second last episode of the season, there was a shock double elimination that saw Adam and Nathan farewelled from the camp, but goodbyes were also said to Dr Chris Brown.
The jungle vet didn’t want to step on the toes of this season’s jungle king or queen and opted to share a few parting words instead.
In the most unofficial Australian quiz ever, campmates grilled non-Aussies Aesha and Nathan about what makes Australians Australian. They even attempted to answer the age-old question of whether the pav is Aussie or Kiwi. Aesha nearly threw the camp log over but eventually settled on the correct answer – the pavlova is Australian.
All celebs headed into the ramp-it-up trial which saw them flung into the air on boogie boards to grab stars. Of course, it was the most fun they’d had at trial without a creepy crawly or sluggish smoothie in sight.
Then it was time to celebrate Dr Chris Brown. Leaving not a dry eye in the house, Julia Morris did her best to keep it together, but her voice cracking and eyes watering represented those of no doubt most of Australia. In a fitting tribute, the TV Week Logie Award-winning performance will go down in the history books and maybe secure another statue.
Sadly, it was also time to farewell the camp’s favourite duo, Adam and Nathan. The rock-solid friendship that formed over the past four weeks in camp was evident when the pair ‘wed’ in a commitment ceremony and Australia got to know Adam as more than the Brownlow medal winner and Nathan as more than a member of Geordie Shore.
The winner of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here will be revealed in the grand finale on Sunday 30th April at 7:30 pm on 10 and 10 Play.
