It’s been a tough year, so throw a shrimp on the barbie, fetch a cold one from the fridge, and get set for the season finale of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! on Channel 10 and 10 Play.
Airing 7:30pm on Sunday, January 30th, the finale will see the final six celebrities battle it out to be crowned king or queen of the jungle.
After Poh Ling Yeow was ejected, the final six celebrities are:
• Emily Seebohm. Four time Olympian, Emily has won an incredible 56 medals on the world stage, making her one of Australia’s most celebrated swimmers. 29 years old now, she debuted for the Australian team at the age of 14.
• Brooke McClymont. One third of the top-selling, award-winning Australian country music trio, The McClymonts.
• Joey Essex. International reality start known for his time on The Only Way Is Essex.
• The David. Originally being listed as a show designer and super influencer with 3.9 million, in a major plot twist, David turned out to just be “just a regular guy from the Goldie”.
• Dylan Lewis. You may know Dylan from the iconic 90s music show Recovery, or his stellar radio work over the years, or for being an extra in Star Wars, scene 11, Dex’s Diner.
• Nathan Buckley. Spanning a 280 game playing career, Nathan is one of AFL’s most decorated players. Recently, he spent a decade as the respected coach of Collingwood.
Speaking to Mediaweek when the season launched, 10 ViacomCBS’s head of entertainment Stephen Tate said that border closures had had a major impact on production.
“There were people that were available that wouldn’t normally be available”, Tate said. “The current circumstances that the whole world finds itself in has changed the mindset of people going in there. They’re genuinely appreciative of the experience. And there is a kind of a change in the way they’ve interacted with each other. People in general, are much kinder, and more interested in each other.”

I’m A Celeb 2021
Back in January 2021, former Bachelor Australia contestant Abbie Chatfield won season seven of I’m a Celebrity Get Me… Out of Here after defeating Grant Denyer and winning $100,000 for her charity.
The finale was broadcast live on channel 10 from Sydney. Despite Covid-19 the show managed to have a full cast and a studio audience for the finale.
In a season set on home soil where everyday tasks whittled the celebrity numbers down before the Hell Holes of Destiny sealed their massive ejection fate, the public then spoke and crowned Abbie, Queen of the Aussie jungle.
The seventh season of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! boasted an average national total audience of 1.11 million viewers across the season, achieving its highest commercial shares ever. The finale was watched by an average national audience of 1.23 million, peaking at 1.39 million.
The show reached 8.17 million people nationally and posted record commercial shares, including in under 50s and all key demographics (16 to 39s and 25 to 54s).
