Australia are one match away from the ICC Cricket World Cup final as they take on South Africa in a do-or-die semi-final.
The Australia vs South Africa match will kick off on Thursday, November 16 at 7:00 pm on 9Gem, 9Now, Fox Cricket and Kayo.
Pat Cummins will lead Australia against South Africa in the second semi-final from Eden Gardens in Kolkata, with a place in the final on the line.
Australia is set to go on the attack with batsmen Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Mitchell Marsh and David Warner, and a bowling attack featuring Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and spinner Adam Zampa, the leading wicket-taker in the tournament.
Nine’s commentary is hosted by Roz Kelly, with expert comments from former Australian captain Mark Taylor.
Mark Taylor said: “Australia versus South Africa sees two very similar teams going head to head for a spot in the World Cup final.
“Warner, Marsh, Maxwell and co, taking on Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markham and Heinrich Klaasen, sees explosive batting up against quality fast bowling from Pat Cummins, Kagiso Ramada, Mitchel Starc, Lungi Ngidi, Josh Hazlewood and Marco Jansen – a mouthwatering prospect.
“South Africa were too good for Australia in the group stage but the Aussies have lifted since those early encounters.
“Zampa’s 22 wickets and Maxwell’s double hundred have been two of the highlights for Australia, but don’t rule out the South Africans who will be itching to make their first World Cup final. Eden Gardens will be packed for what will be an epic encounter.”
