The return of the anticipated Darwin Triple Crown and the Repco Supercars Championship Indigenous Round will be live and free on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus from 12:00 pm AEST Saturday, June 17.
Seven’s resident motorsport expert, Mark Beretta and Super2 driver Jack Perkins will take viewers live to Hidden Valley Raceway for a weekend packed with action, kicking off from midday Saturday, and a second five-hour telecast on Sunday afternoon.
Mark Beretta said: “Darwin is one of the most anticipated rounds of the year. The drivers, the teams, and the fans all look forward to the racing and the great weather. All the pressure will be on competition frontrunner, Brodie Kostecki, to maintain his lead.”
Supercars legends Garth Tander, Mark Skaife and Craig Lowndes return to the 7SPORT commentary box, alongside motorsport “master caster”, Neil Crompton; with fan favourites Mark Larkham, Chad Nylon and Riana Crehan bringing viewers into the pit lane.
The full broadcast will be live and free on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus, while the full replay will be available as a catch-up on 7plus, as well as Supercars highlights and documentaries
When the cars pull up to the grid for the fifth stop on the Championship tour this weekend, favourites Kostecki and Will Brown are expected to continue their form, after their podium finish at the Tasmanian SuperSprint.
Leading the charge, Kostecki holds an 87-point lead over Brown while Chad Mostert sits a further 79 points behind in third.
The only Supercars event to feature drag racing, Darwin will also host Nitro Up North – the grand finale of the Australian Top Fuel Championship – broadcast live and free on 7plus from 5.30 pm AEST on Saturday, June 17.
