The race for glory on Dancing With The Stars: All Stars comes to an end this Sunday, when the best of the best face off to be crowned All Stars champion in the grand finale.
The six grand finalists who will be taking to the dance floor to compete for the mirror ball trophy are Luke Jacobz, Bec Hewitt, Kyly Clarke, Lincoln Lewis, Ada Nicodemou and Manu Feildel.
As the very first champion in series one (2004), Bec Hewitt is a favourite this year after a stellar series of dances. Ada Nicodemou won series three (2005) and is hoping that lightning can strike twice. Given Kyly Clarke bowed out of series 14 (2014) due to injury, she is looking too re-write history.
The winner of season 11 (2011), can Manu Feildel be the crowd favourite again? Lincoln Lewis has been living up to his All Star status with his performance on and off the dance floor, while Luke Jacobz collected a perfect score of 40 in his semi-final, so can he improve on perfection?
There will be nothing left on the dance floor heading into a night of costumes, ballroom drama and the crowning of the very first Dancing With The Stars: All Stars winner.
Speaking to Mediaweek, Seven’s director of production Andrew Backwell said that:
“By bringing back all-stars, you get a better standard of dancing because you’ve got stars that have done it before. They know what it entails, they’ve got some experience now, so the standard of dancing for the series is the highest it’s ever been in this market because they’ve done it before and can dance.”
