The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games are well underway, broadcast live and free, exclusively on Seven and 7plus until August 8.
The Australian Athletics Team of 83 includes 30 athletes making their Commonwealth Games debut, while two athletes – Kathryn Mitchell (javelin) and Eloise Wellings (marathon) – are set to make a record-breaking fifth appearance at the Games.
Jessica Stenson created Commonwealth marathon history as the 34-year-old crossed the line in a time of two hours 27 minutes 31 seconds.
Earlier on Saturday, wheelchair racing star Madison de Rozario triumphed in the women’s T53/54 race, adding to her glittering array of golds.
Qualifying rounds begin on August 2 in prime time from 7pm – 10.30pm AEST with finals each morning from 3.30am to 7am.

• August 3 7.00pm – In a moment Aussies have been waiting for, Peter Bol hits the track for the men’s 800m heats, against a talent-stacked group of athletes. Then, two-time Olympic finalist, Brandon Starc, defends his men’s high jump title.
• August 4 (AM): Rohan Browning in the 100m final
• August 6 (PM): Eleanor Patterson in the high jump
• August 7 (PM): Kelsey-Lee Barber in the javelin
• August 8 (AM): Peter Bol in the 800m final
