The Book of Boba Fett continues to dominate the TV Demand charts in both Australia and New Zealand as it sits at the #1 spot for the fourth week in a row.
Over the past week, the Disney + original came in at 36.22 points above market average in Australia, the highest it has ever rated.
The much anticipated season finale premiered Wednesday, February 9 and was the seventh episode of the season. Disney + has not confirmed the return of a second season.
Following on from last week’s success, The Mandalorian continues to climb both the Australian and New Zealand charts, rising one point from the week before.
One of the most notable new entries is Amazon Prime’s The Legend of Vox Machina, placing fourth in Australia’s digital series with 18.28 points above market average and second in the New Zealand charts with 16 points above market average.
The new animated series began as a crowdfunded special launched by Critical Role, a popular web series featuring a cast of voice actors playing Dungeons & Dragons.
The original Kickstarter for The Legend of Vox Machina raised close to $12 million, breaking records at the time. Prime Video partnered with Critical Role to air the first season, adding two additional episodes to the first season.
Another new entry is Hulu’s miniseries Pam and Tommy, which follows Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s 90s relationship, focusing on the unauthorised release of their private sex tape. The series stars Lily James as Pamela Anderson, Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee, and Seth Rogen as Rand Gauthier.
Pam and Tommy ranked third in Australia’s digital series with 23.32 above market average and fourth in New Zealand’s digital series with 14.93 points.
Amazon Prime’s Reacher and HBO Max’s Peacemaker enter the charts for the first time, while Netflix’s The Witcher and Ozark fall a few places.
