Tuned Global has announced the appointment of Rick Gleave to the newly-created role of senior vice president, head of Europe and MENA.
Based in London, Gleave will drive growth for the B2B streaming technology specialist across the Europe and MENA regions, scaling up its local operations and network of clients and partners.
The newly appointed senior VP will also lead on expanding Tuned Global’s local teams, with a number of further hires planned for the coming months.
Gleave brings with him extensive experience launching successful streaming businesses in new markets.
In his previous role as SVP, head of international for in-store background music provider PlayNetwork, he launched the company’s Australian office and led the roll-out of the company’s Apple Music for Business offering across Apple’s key markets outside North America.
Gleve has also held the position of founding director of business development and partnerships with Pandora ANZ, where he also supported the growth of Pandora’s Australian team.
Under Gleave’s leadership, Tuned Global will continue to strengthen its existing partnerships with European companies including UFC Ultimate Sound by ACX Music in Norway, and Rehegoo, Reactional Music, Psycle and Pure Energy in the UK.
Meanwhile, the company’s focus on North Africa will extend its string of successful partnerships elsewhere on the continent, such as with Sewasew in Ethiopia and WAW Muzik in Ivory Coast.
Gleave will report to Tuned Global’s chief revenue officer Spiro Arkoudis.
