Triple M Perth welcomed the 2023 AFL season with a launch event last week at The Camfield, along the banks of the Swan River and near Optus Stadium.
The event was attended by 100 guests and hosted by Triple M commentator Ryan Daniels.
Daniels was joined by Triple M Rush Hour with JB & Billy’s James Brayshaw and Billy Brownless, who flew from Melbourne to attend.
Noel Quick, SCA Perth head of sales, welcomed guests as they were treated to roving canapes, beverages and lunch.
Quick first addressed the depth of Triple M’s football offering and its high-profile talent pool in Perth and across the country. He also touched on LiSTNR and its capacity to offer advertisers engagement with incremental audiences, and of course – to stream Triple M football live.
Quick also highlighted Triple M’s ability to endorse its clients’ brands in an entertaining way, while also delivering significant cut-through to its passionate and engaged audience.
James Brayshaw anchored a lively panel session – with Brownless, Triple M Breakfast co-host Xavier Ellis and Triple M WA Rush Hour co-host Andrew Embley.
Guests heard entertaining football stories from their days on the field, as well as predictions and opinions for the upcoming season.
Ewan Giles, head of sports content – on‑air and on demand, also addressed guests to share his passion and enthusiasm for all things football at Triple M – also extending to NRL opportunities.
The Triple M Perth event comes after the station recently welcomed Katie Lamb is joining Triple M’s Rush Hour on November 7.
Lamb joined current host Andrew ‘Embers’ Embley to co-host, and as a big West Coast Eagles supporter, there will be no shortage of footy chat and plenty of banter.
