Triple M has announced a new agreement to broadcast this summer’s T20 series between Australia and Sri Lanka.
Triple M’s commentary team will include James Brayshaw, Greg Blewett, Brett Lee, Brad Haddin, Dan Ginnane, Gus Worland, Brad Hodge, Jack Heverin, Dan Ginnane, and Barry Denner.
The series kicks off on 11 February as listeners can tune into Triple M’s commentary live on air in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, or live stream the T20 against Sri Lanka on the LiSTNR app.
This follows the success of the Ashes series between Australia and England which introduced cricket to the LiSTNR app for the first time ever.
Head of Triple M sport, Ewan Giles, said: “With the postponement of the one-dayers against New Zealand, we weren’t ready for Triple M Cricket to end for the summer and nor were our listeners. We are delighted that we can cover the T20s against Sri Lanka in our unique Triple M style. Especially with the addition of Brad Hodge and Brett Lee. Both were dominant T20 players and will be equally as impressive in the Triple M Cricket commentary box.”
The coverage will see Australian T20 representatives Brett Lee and Brad Hodge joining the Triple M ranks
Haddin said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be part of the Triple M team for the T20. Working alongside Triple M’s awesome commentary team will be great fun and calling what will be a great series is the ideal way to finish the summer series.”
Listen to all the T20 action, starting this Friday, 11 February, on Triple M or via the LiSTNR app.
