The world’s most popular car show, Top Gear, is set to arrive at Stan, with the brand new season available exclusively on Stan beginning Monday November 15. This announcement follows a new multi-year deal with BBC Studios with exclusive rights to future Top Gear seasons, delivering the most relatable, entertaining and anticipated verdict of everything automotive only on Stan.
Fresh from the success of their first four series together, Top Gear’s line up of presenters – cricket legend Freddie Flintoff, actor and comedian Paddy McGuinness, and automotive journalist Chris Harris – are back behind the wheel as they travel the globe and hit the track in some never seen before adventures.
The new season of Top Gear is jam-packed with action that adrenaline-fuelled motoring super fans will love. For the first time in 18 months, Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness are back behind the wheel and go abroad for some epic adventures.
Fans can enjoy even more Top Gear action with Seasons 29 and 30 available to stream for the first time in Australia exclusively on Stan. The addition of these seasons, along with Seasons 27 and 28, to Stan’s existing Top Gear catalogue, will mean hours and hours of the world’s most popular motorsport show will be available to stream on Stan.
Stan has also announced that the Stan Original Film Nitram will premiere Wednesday, 24 November.
Nitram depicts the events leading up to one of the darkest chapters in Australian history in an attempt to understand why and how this atrocity occurred.
Nitram screened in Official Selection for Competition at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and was the first Australian film to compete for the Palme D’Or in a decade. Nitram was also awarded the CinefestOZ Film Prize in August, in addition to being selected for competition at this year’s BFI London Film Festival.
Top Gear begins on Monday 15 9am AEDT, same day as the U.K., only on Stan
