Sky News has announced former newspaper editor Peter Gleeson and sports presenter Tim Gilbert will host Racing Dreams, a new Saturday morning program airing on Sky News Live on Foxtel and Sky News on WIN.
Premiering Saturday 9 February at 10 am AEDT, Racing Dreams with Peter Gleeson and Tim Gilbert follows thoroughbred horse ownership and provides an insider’s look into the world of syndicates and racing.

Peter Gleeson, Sky News anchor commented: “I love racing and when you see the emotion of racehorse ownership, you will understand why this show is a must-watch. This is about capturing the special moments and camaraderie of the racing industry. I am excited to be a part of the new program at Sky News and working alongside Tim Gilbert. It will be a great ride for viewers.”
Paul Whittaker, Sky News Chief Executive commented: “Racing Dreams is an exciting addition to our Saturday morning line-up, giving our viewers a rare insight into the unpredictable world of racing. Each week the program will follow the hopes, setbacks and triumphs of a group of thoroughbred horse owners as they experience the agony and the ecstasy of the sport of kings. It’s fantastic to have Tim Gilbert join the Racing Dreams team at Sky News, providing audiences with unique sporting insights. ”
