Thinkerbell has welcomed Phillippa Netolicky as general manager of Thinkerbell North (Sydney).
Margie Reid, CEO of the said of the independent advertising agency, said of the appointment: “Rounding out the management of Thinkerbell North, we’ve found the perfect person in Netolicky.
“She’s a brilliantly well-rounded communications professional, having worked as both a senior creative as well as on the business management side. She brings a non-siloed, progressive mindset to our agency and will fit like a glove.”
Netolicky said of her new role: “Thinkerbell’s all-in model appeals to me. I was looking for an independent agency willing to find a better way of doing things. Thinkerbell is it.”
Netolicky joins managing partner Jerker Fagerström, and executive creative tinker Paul Swann, as leaders of the Thinkerbell North office.
This comes after the independent advertising agency named Amy Frengley, Luke Farmer and Regan Grafton as its Kiwi leads of its recently opened New Zealand office.
The trio, who will base themselves in Tāmaki Makaurau’s Greys Avenue, bring with them extensive industry experience and a passion for putting creatively distinctive, hard-working work out into the world.
Farmer said: “Thinkerbell has already established itself as a leading independent agency both across the ditch and globally. The way they have effectively integrated creative, earned and media really tickles my fancy, and we are pumped for some of New Zealand’s best brands to join our fresh approach of marketing science smashed with hardcore creativity.”
Frengley shared: “I’m excited to be a part of something that’s fundamentally different. We’re here to ultimately change and drive behaviour, and I love that Thinkerbell is already doing that with a genuine love for brand, creativity and powerful storytelling that sticks – and stays – in all of the right places.”
Grafton added: “At Thinkerbell we like to keep things simple. There seems to be a lot of quotes in here already, so I’ll save some space.”
