The Works, part of Capgemini, has made four promotions across the agency in operations, project management, creative and finance after its workplace culture was recognised in this year’s ‘Great Places To Work’ list.
Julie Dormand, managing director, said the promotions are a reflection of the agency’s focus and belief in hiring from within and career progression.
Jen Hird steps up into the new role of general manager of operations from her previous role as head of project management. She has been at the Works for eight years across multiple facets of the business. Hird previously worked with the Smith Family and TAFE, who she will continue to look after.
Rosie Carey moves on from her role as a creative project leader to head of project management at the agency.
Senior creative Tim Brothers has been promoted to creative lead, joining Chris Dwyer as two great talents who are passionate about mentoring the wider creative team.
Rounding out the promotions is Maria Nguyen, who takes on the role of finance and HR admin director from her previous position of finance director. She will spearhead the financial aspect of the agency and oversee the onboarding process for new talent.
Damian Pincus, founder and creative partner of The Works said the promotions mark an evolution in the agency as the industry continues to change.
This year marked the fifth time The Works was voted into the top 10 of the ‘Great Places To Work’ list. This year, the agency came fourth on the nationwide list and was a milestone for the agency of 58 employees, highlighting its commitment to fostering an exceptional workplace culture that empowers and nurtures its employees.
At the time Dormand said achieving the recognition underscores their ongoing efforts to cultivate a workplace that values and supports our incredible team.
“Our employees are at the heart of everything we do, and this recognition only strengthens our resolve to continue fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity,” she added.
